Maintenance Operation Foreman – Martins Ferry, OH
The National Lime and Stone, a multi-plant natural resource company, has a Maintenance Operation Foreman full-time position available at its Martins Ferry, OH facility. This position will supervise and work with the asphalt plant foreman and employees in the production of bituminous asphalt materials. Daily schedules of the production of materials, equipment, personnel, repairs and maintenance operations. Coordinates production with the paving operations manager and the QA/QC manager to ensure quality and optimum production.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of asphalt plant, mechanics, and all aspects that are required to manufacture asphalt with four or more years of experience in manufacturing bituminous asphalt materials for state, municipal and commercial projects.
- Ability to understand job costing and setting budgets.
- Ability to work 50-70 hours per week including weekends and nights, as needed.
- Ability to lead people, schedule work and manage projects.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, tactful, mature, flexible; good conflict management and listening skills.
- Excellent computers skills, program proficiency – Excel, Outlook, Word, Viewpoint software.
- High energy level and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work with others proactively.
